This piece is full of many tones smooth grays and this adds to the already existing depth. The composition of the subjects in the photo follow classic landscape rules and as a result it pays off tremendously. The water pulls the viewers eye from the foreground to the background of the distant trees very nicely. I do love the different grains of soil on both sides of the shot giving the shot a little bit of texture, which can be overlooked in some landscape pictures I have seen. The dark tones of the trees balances out the light sky and gives the picture a equal overall mood. This image can be looked at for a long time and one will notice new tones, textures, and other details that they never noticed before. Great job!
