Young Deer

This is a youngling on a snowmobile trail here in Maine, naturists bitch and whine about how the snowmobile industry kills wildlife, but this little fella stands a chance BECAUSE of the snowmobile trails being there. He has been seperated from his mother for one reason or another, and wonders the snowmobile trails looking for food, the snow in the woods is much too deep for him to get around properly, so if this young deer makes it through the winter it is thanks to the well packed snowmobile trails. If you come across wildlife like this on a snowmobile trail, stop your sled, turn off your engine and do not scare it, not only do scared animals act erratically, but younglings like this need all of the energy they can muster to make it through the rough winter.
