Well here I am, yet another project, this one may interest some of you though...

I am going to be compiling a photography coffee table book. which I am going to have published and bound. I mean this is nothing HUGE but it is something that I have wanted to do for some time. here is how this is going to work...

I am going to pick some of my favorite photographers on here, in turn I want some of you to pick one of your favorite artists, and link me to their page so I can contact them, this is not for self promotion, if you link me to your own page I will not put you in the book. Everyone who has a photo that makes its way into the book will receive a copy of the book for free. I am going to run about 50-75 of these to start, what I would like to do is donate all profits of this book to a charity that the majority of the photographers agree on.once we run out of these books I would either like to make a volume 2 or if there is enough call for it, I will be making a 2nd printing of this book. each artist thats photo makes it into the book (I will have that artist choose which ones they are putting in it) will have full rights to their photo still this is more or less a way to compile a bunch of great photos, print them, and have something nice for friends and family to see. When I get figures back from my printers and find out how many photographers will be featured I will let you all know how much the book will cost for those who did not make it into the book.

I am also open to feedback about this. once my initial printing costs have been covered I will be talking to the photographers about what our next step should be, what charity we should donate the profits to, together they will choose whether it will be a 2nd volume, or a reprint of this one, or even if we just stop there and be done with it.

I will have documents ready for the artists to sign, concerning releases as well as copyrights.

The books title will be "Framing A Cure, ' Photography Around the Globe' " And it looks like our charity will be The Breast Cancer Foundation.
